Cuppa and Costa Rica
I started binding Cuppa in July 2018. Alas, each monthly block of Fresh Cut took 60 to 70 hours to complete.Finishing hand sewing the binding kept getting pushed aside. I was happy to be informed that the cruise class rooms would be open for open sew in the evenings. I decided to bring my Cuppa quilt on the Panama Canal cruise. I am happy to report that my Cuppa quilt is complete, including hanging pocket and quilt label.
Puntarenas, Costa Rica was the next port. After disembarking the Westerdam, I boarded a bus for a hour drive to Jaco for an rainforest arial tram ride. I boarded an eight person gondola for an hour ride through a rainforest.
I was lucky enough to see multiple toucans, monkeys and gorgeous waterfalls.
After a delicious lunch, I boarded the bus to the Tarcoles River for a hour river boat tour. I was so fortunate to see over a dozen different birds, a howler monkey and a 12 foot crocodile plus many smaller crocodiles.
